Ihlas Holding A.Ş. was founded in 1970 with the establishment of Türkiye newspaper. It operates across the country with its 25 companies, 3,124 employees in construction, real estate, manufacturing, trade, mining, education and healthcare sectors. İhlas Yayın Holding (İhlas Media Holding), the media group under İhlas Holding, was founded with a capital of 200 million Turkish Liras on July 10, 2003 to consolidate the media sector subsidiaries of İhlas Group. It went public on October 25-26, 2010. The Holding’s shares began trading on Borsa Istanbul on October 5, 2010. İhlas Holding owns 49.71% of İhlas Yayın Holding, whereas 48.19% of the company's shares are public.
According to the first quarter of 2021 annual report, İhlas Group owns 23.96% of İhlas Yayın Holding's shares. 78.79% of İhlas Holding is open to the public.

Enver Ören, founder of Ihlas Holding A.Ş., was born in 1939. He attended Kuleli Military School and graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Sciences. He received a scholarship from NATO to study in Italy. He founded the journal Hakikat which was later renamed into Türkiye Newspaper. Before that he worked as a lecturer at Istanbul University and was awarded a title of Honorary Doctor of Sciences from Konya Selcuk University. He died in 2013.
