TRT FM is a public radio station with a high audience share.
According to Article 434 of Turkish Commercial Code, shareholders in corporations ('Anonim Şirket’) use their voting rights in proportion with their shares’ nominal value. Each shareholder has at least one vote, however voting rights might be limited, or given more weight with articles of association. Moreover, public companies may issue shares without voting rights according to Article 14/A of Capital Markets Law.

Born in 1962 in Denizli, Göka studied journalism at Marmara University. In 1985, he started working for TRT. Between 2012 and 2014 he worked an advisor (müşavir) in the Prime Ministry. He became the Assistant to the General Manager of TRT and a member of the Board of Directors in June 2014. In October 2014 he became the CEO and President of TRT.

Ayfer Durak is the Coordinator of TRT FM and the Head of ‘TRT Ankara Radio’s ‘Theater and Entertainment Broadcasts Department. She is a graduate of Ege University’s Communications Faculty and has been working at TRT since 1993.
