Meltem Oktay, the daughter of Erdoğan Demirören, is one of the shareholders of the conglomerate 'Demirören Holding A.Ş.' which holds the majority shares of the companies that publish Hürriyet, Milliyet, and Posta newspapers and online gazetevatan.com.
