Hadi Özışık
Hadi Özışık was born in Iğdır’s Tuzluca in 1962. He entered the journalism profession in 1982 as a columnist for Hüryurt newspaper in Kars.
Hadi Özışık started his professional journalism career as a court correspondent for the Türkiye Newspaper (1986) and later worked as a reporter, manager and columnist for Günaydın Newspaper, Bugün Newspaper (Dinç Bilgin), Meydan Newspaper, Milliyet News Agency, Yeni Günaydın Newspaper, HBB TV, Kanal 6, Sağduyu Newspaper, Tercüman Newspaper (Ilıcak) and Star Newspaper.
In addition to Internethaber.com, Hadi Özışık, who owns gazeteoku.com, İnternetspor.com, Gazeteciler.com, Memurhaber.com, Elmaelma.com, Sporoku.com, Ekofinans.com sites, founded the Internet Media Association in 2005.
Accused of leading a criminal organization and having fled Turkey, Sedat Peker started broadcasting on his YouTube channel on May 2, 2021. While these videos reveal new allegations in the state-mafia-media relationship, they exemplify that the political relations of media owners are not limited to the government but also extend to third parties -- who are being wanted for the leadership of a criminal organization. Hadi Özışık came to the fore with the allegations that he acted as an intermediary between Sedat Peker and Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu. Peker released Özışık's aforementioned recordings.
Following this incident, Minister Soylu filed a criminal complaint against Hadi and Süleyman Özışık on May 19 with the allegation of "insult”, “calumny” and "knowingly and willingly aiding the organization without being included in its hierarchical structure". In the investigation launched on May 21, teams from the Istanbul Anti-Cyber Crime Branch raided the Internethaber office in Ataşehir, owned by the Özışık brothers.
After Süleyman Soylu's complaint, Hadi Özışık's role as a commentator on TV100 and Habertürk programs was terminated. Süleyman Özışık's column in the Türkiye newspaper was taken from him.
Against the claims, Özışık claimed that he was trapped in the statements he made on his Youtube channel.
