Meta Data

The company’s ownership structure has recently undergone some changes which were not reflected in the public records. It was also impossible to determine the exact shares Nafia Sevin Ergun Sefada holds at Show Radyo Yayıncılığı A.Ş. Show Radyo lists "Show Radyo Yayıncılığı A.Ş.” (Trade registry no: 801767) as the owner on the website. In the Trade Registry Gazette, the last record for "Show Radyo Yayıncılığı" is from 14/05/2015, which has no information on shares. The previous record is from 24/03/2015 and reveals shareholder change: "Planet TV Ve Uydu Platform İşletmeciliği A.Ş." (Trade registry no:745969) had 104.999.676, Nafia Sevin Ergün Sefada had 162, and Cüneyt Büyükyaka had 162 shares out of 105.000.000. The company's name was changed to "Show Radyo Yayıncılığı A.Ş." (from "Planet Yerli Televizyon Yayıncılığı A.Ş.") in this record as well.
When the major shareholder "Planet TV Ve Uydu Platform İşletmeciliği A.Ş." is looked up in the trade registry, the last record is from 5 September 2016, when Sefada was chosen as the chair of the board of directors. In the previous record, on 15 July 2016, "PLNT01 Medya ve İletişim Hizmetleri A.Ş." (all shares owned by Columbia Pictures Corporation Limited) bought 51% of all the company's shares, leaving Sefada with %49.
The 6 April 2016 record reveals that "Show Radyo Yayıncılığı"s shares were split and moved into a new company named NSE Medya, which is owned entirely by Nafia Sevin Ergün Sefada - named after her initials. On the same date, articles were published in the media announcing that Sony Pictures had bought the majority shares of the company (Planet TV) that owns the planet TV channels.
However, these changes haven’t been reflected in the records of "Show Radyo Yayıncılığı A.Ş." Planet TV's website (that lists the specific company name "Planet TV Ve Uydu Platform İşletmeciliği A.Ş.") still has Show Radyo's icon, which could be because the site is not updated.
The name of Nafia Sevin Ergün Safada makes it very hard to search for information on her on the Internet. Under Sevin Ergün, there are various reports in the media claiming to reveal her close ties to the government, however it is very hmake a concrete connection between this name and the owner of Show Radyo.
